Muffin Tin Mondays- Getting Started

I’ve got a new addiction. Blogs! 😀 Ever since the discovery of Tot School, I’ve started following all kinds of blogs. Photography, Tot School, Food… all kinds!

One of those blogs is Muffin Tin Mom. Every Monday she hosts “Muffin Tin Monday” and folks submit the muffin tin meals they served that day. I’ve been wanting to link up for a while, but was hesitant to feed the kids in the muffin tins I have. They’re plain and just not pretty. But buying all new muffin tins just to participate seemed like money I just couldn’t justify. So I decided to take the plunge today and fed the kids their very first Muffin Tin Meal! No fancy theme, just things we had in the house.

Muffin Tin: Getting Started

Carrot and Cucumber sticks, grapes, cheese, ABC pasta, peanut butter sandwish squares, and Creamy Caesar "dip" (we're out of Ranch)

I wasn’t sure how the kids would react to the new presentation, but they dove in and ate quite a bit. Though their favorite thing was to rearrange the items in the various cups. LOL Oh, and of course, EVERYTHING got dipped.

Chowing Down

Chowing down!

When all was said and done, they ate pretty well. Though I’m thinking maybe I should leave out the carrot and cucumber sticks next time.

All done!

All done!
